Denver Branch - Residential Landscape Care Consultant Team

Jon Elliott - Jon has been in the green industry since 1985 and with Swingle since 2004. He is a Certified Arborist and Certified Tree Worker by the International Society of Arboriculture and holds a Pesticide Applicator License with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. Jon received his Associate in Horticulture with an emphasis on Urban Forestry from Front Range College. Jon was the Arborist for the City of Denver for 15 years and in 2008 served as President of the International Society of Arboriculture, Rocky Mountain Chapter. Each year, Jon participates in a 500-mile bicycle ride to raise money for the TREE FUND, which provides grants to colleges and researchers.
   
Michael Guenther - With Swingle since 1987, Michael's green industry experience dates to 1983. His Bachelor's of Science with a Plant Pathology concentration is from Colorado State University. Michael was among the first to be designated Certified Arborist by the International Society of Arboriculture, Rocky Mountain Chapter, and Qualified Supervisor with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. A Dale Carnegie course graduate, Michael's customer service record has earned him Swingle's Top Residential Account Representative designation for several years. "Fulfilling my client’s landscape care needs," Michael says, "is an exceptionally gratifying part of my job."
   
Tony Hahn - If Tony looks familiar, he is. The "face" of Swingle on 7News and KHOW-630AM radio is a green industry veteran since 1979. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from Michigan State University in 1982. Tony came to Colorado in 1979 with Wilmore and Country Fair Garden Centers and became a Field Services Manager for Chemlawn Services for 6 years before joining Swingle in 1990.
   
Paul Kehl - With over ten years experience as a professional Arborist, Paul is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and a Qualified Supervisor with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. Paul has been in the green industry since 2001 and with Swingle since 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University, Majoring in Agricultural Business and Applied Economics with a Minor in Forestry and Natural Resource Management. Paul has a strong passion in seeing how a homeowner’s vision combined with professional know how can truly transform their property.
   

Greg LaCasse - Joining Swingle in 1985, Greg spent several years in the company's Plant Health Care department as a Supervisor before moving into a Management role in the same department. In 1998, Greg began his sales role in Swingle’s newly acquired Christmas Décor franchise and quickly became the foremost authority in Swingle’s holiday décor department, where he has earned many design achievement and customer satisfaction awards. Greg has a Qualified Supervisor license with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. His green industry experience dates to 1980.

 
   
Mark Lindeman - "The kids who used to yell for their parents when I knocked on the door are now my customers," says Mark Lindeman of his 30-year tenure as one of Swingle’s most tenured account representatives. Mark has been in the green industry since 1977 and with Swingle since 1981. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University in 1980. Mark is a nationally registered Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture. Mark prides himself on his knowledge of his clients and their properties, and in providing the knowledge available only through personal experience.
   
Tom Martin - Tom has been in the green industry and with Swingle since 1999. He is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and a Qualified Supervisor with the Colorado Department of Agriculture since 2001. Tom prides himself on delivering the best service possible by providing honest, straightforward practical advice to his clients.
   
David Rhine - An alumnus of Arizona State University, David joined Swingle in 2002. He has worked in Colorado's landscape industry in 1981 with additional industry experience in California, Utah, Texas and Connecticut. David is a Qualified Supervisor with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. He enjoys helping his clients keep their landscapes, "healthy and vigorous."
   
Terry Schroder - Terry grew up in a family nursery business in Geneva, Nebraska, where he learned all aspects of arboriculture. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Forestry. Terry started at Swingle as a trimmer doing ornamental pruning work before graduating to large tree trimming and removals and being promoted to the sales team in 1979. A Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and licensed with the Colorado Department of Agriculture in Lawns & Plant Health Care, Terry has been in the green industry since 1967 and with Swingle since 1976. Terry's passion? "My customers."
   
Tom C. Tews - Tom's love of the Colorado outdoors combines well with his passion for helping his clients make their outdoor spaces more enjoyable. A green industry professional since 1979 and with Swingle since 1994, Tom is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture since 1994 and a Qualified Supervisor with the Colorado Department of Agriculture since 1991.

Rodney Bashaw - Rodney has been in the green industry since 1986 and with Swingle since 1993. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Arboriculture from the University of Wisconsin. Rodney is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture since 1989 and a Qualified Supervisor with the Colorado Department of Agriculture. His love of the outdoors, love for trees and passion for his clients brings joy to his career.
   
Matt Schovel - Matt is a second generation Arborist. He has been in the green industry in Colorado since 1982 and with Swingle since 2000. Before coming to Swingle, Matt owned a tree care and landscaping business in Colorado Springs. He now leads the commercial business development and commercial sales department at Swingle. He is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and a Qualified Supervisor with the Colorado Department of Agriculture and is actively involved in Denver BOMA. Colorado Biz Magazine named Matt as "One of the Top 25 Most Powerful Salespeople" in Colorado.
   
Jeff Stimson - Jeff has worked in a variety of positions in the industry, from agriculture to a diagnostician. In the green industry since 1983 and with Swingle since 1990, Jeff has experience in tree diagnostics, pruning, lawn care, landscape installation and design. Jeff is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and has been an American Society of Consulting Arborists since 2007. Working with people to solve their landscape needs and concerns is his passion.
  Chuck Perkins -  Chuck recently joined the Swingle family in 2011.  While a resident of Colorado since 1985, and a graduate of Northern Arizona University, Chuck brings 30 years of commercial landscape experience, including lawn, tree, landscape, irrigatino and maintenance specific expertise to the team.  His focus has always been on the customer and lives by a motto of "Do The Right Thing."  The outdoors and beautiful landscapes are his passion.

Eric Shaub - Eric has been in the green industry since 1995 and with Swingle since 2005. He received his Bachelors Degree in Forestry from Colorado State University, graduating in 1995. Eric holds a Qualified Supervisors license from the Colorado Department of Agriculture.
   
Dan Simpson - Originally from New Jersey, Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management from Rutgers University. Dan has been in the green industry since 1999 and with Swingle since 2006.
Sye Vasquez -  Starting as a crew member, Sye has been with Swingle since 2009.  He holds both Certified Arborist and Certified Tree Worker certifications from the International Society of Arboriculture.  A transplant from Hawaii, Sye's passion for Colorado and the mountains comes from his studies at Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO, He has been in the green industry for the past seven years.
